Samuel O’ Neal (AKA) “Man Money Bags” was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 20, 1985.  As a young child, Samuel migrated to Philadelphia, PA, where he received his education in the Philadelphia school system.  As a young child, he developed an interest in rap and song writing.  To perfect his craft for music, Samuel started recording and producing music on a higher level.  Samuel adopted the name “Man money bags” from his late uncle Eric “E. Money bags” Smith, who was assassinated on the streets of Queens, New York.  His tragic story appeared on the B.E.T. series, “AmericanGangster”.            

Inspired by his friend, one of rap’s well-known artist, “Philadelphia Freeway”, Samuel began to make collaborations with up and coming and known artist such as: Philadelphia Freeway, Peedi Peedi (Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam), Beanie Siegel (Roc-A-Fella), Gilly The Kid (Cash Money Records), Tony Moore, Vidal Davis, Andre Harris (Rock Star Entertainment), Ti Grand (Hustler Entertainment) Dutch (Untertainment Records), Ice City/Shore Shot Records, Brea (Atlantic Records) & Nick Jay (Philadelphia International Records), just to name a few.

“Man Money Bags”, is currently recording at the world famous Larry Gold’s recording studio and Studio 609, in Philadelphia, PA.  The owners and super producers, of Studio 609, Andre Harris and Vidal Davis, produced some tracks on his CD.  In lieu of his song writing abilities, “Man Money Bags”, decided to go into the production side of the industry.  He combined all his hard work, determination and formed a production Company, “Son of Sam Entertainment”, in recognition of his father, also named Samuel.  The company has a team of successful and motivated writers, producers, artist management, artist development and “beat creators”, ready to take the industry by storm.  While holding down the artistic and the production side of the industry, “Man Money Bags”, also wants to be an entrepreneur in Real Estate. 

While they say “In order to be successful you must love what you’re doing”, “Man Money Bags”, says “In order to be successful in the industry, you have to eat, sleep and breathe music.”
